Starting this month, Nordstrom customers can expect to see the buy online, pickup in-store (BOPIS) offering at stores throughout the country.

The retailer plans to start offering access to the BOPIS feature to customers shopping on Nordstrom.com, NordstromRack.com, as well as HauteLook.com. All Nordstrom Rack stores will also be able to fulfill online orders for customers, the company announced in a press release.

Later this year, customers will also have the option of picking up their U.S. NordstromRack.com and HauteLook.com orders at their nearest Nordstrom and Nordstrom Local stores.

“Our market strategy is how we provide customers with greater merchandise selection and faster delivery while increasing convenience through our services. Our Nordstrom Rack business plays a critical role within how we stay closer to our customers,” said Erik Nordstrom, chief executive officer of Nordstrom.

The offering is aimed at providing a secure and more convenient shopping experience.

“The addition of these services and fulfillment options within our Nordstrom Rack stores enables us to further engage and serve customers on their terms.”

With its recent plan to hire 22,000 employees, Nordstrom says it will be better equipped to meet customer demands as these new employees will work in its fulfillment and distribution centers, as well as at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores. On Friday, Nordstrom held hiring events in each of its stores across the U.S. and Canada for same-day hiring.

“We are excited to expand these services and fulfillment options to our Nordstrom Rack stores,” said Geevy Thomas president of Nordstrom Rack. “Our hope is that through the addition of these offerings we will provide customers even greater access to our breadth of inventory and a more convenient and seamless shopping experience however they choose to shop with us.”
