The partnership comes as on-demand shopping experiences have become pivotal to consumers – a trend that has gained steam since the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We have found that adding in the on-demand factor to Hims & Hers products is a game-changer for many consumers,” said Melissa Baird,
chief operating officer of Hims & Hers.
“Our relationship with Uber will be the biggest on-demand push we’ve pursued to-date, and we are incredibly pleased to offer the ability for so many more people to be able to access our high quality health and wellness products when they need them.”
The service is initially being rolled out to customers in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Miami, Houston, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Philadelphia, Seattle, Atlanta and Phoenix.
Customers can order and receive a variety of Hims & Hers products using the Uber Eats app, including condoms and lubricants, as well as personal care items like sleep gummies, hair care products and skincare items.
The two companies also plan to expand the offering to Postmates, a separate delivery app owned by Uber.
