Fashion apparel retailer, Express, has launched its very own social commerce offering dubbed Express Community Commerce, enabling fashion enthusiasts to style, inspire and earn commission through its products.
The program offers members (Style Editors) access to coaching, education, mentorship, and meetups as well as the tools needed to engage and connect with their followers. In addition, members get access to selling opportunities where they can earn commission on specially designed seasonal collections.
“We continue to advance the EXPRESSway Forward strategy, and Community Commerce is the next significant step in our transformation,” said Tim Baxter, CEO of Express.
“Building upon the strong performance of our influencer marketing programs, along with our brand purpose which is to create confidence and inspire self-expression, Community Commerce will be a powerful and innovative way for customers to engage with Express.”
Currently, the program is in its pilot phase and expected to be rolled out nationwide this fall.
Express believes the offering will better position the company to hit its goal of $1B in eCommerce sales by 2024.
