Streaming giant Netflix Inc has revealed its plans to launch an online store to offer up exclusive limited edition, high-quality apparel and lifestyle products based on shows and brands.
“We’re thrilled to give fans a new way to connect with their favorite stories, and to introduce them to the next wave of artists and designers who embrace the power of storytelling in all its forms,” said Netflix in a statement on Thursday.
The shop dubbed Netflix.shop is already available in the United States and will become available in other countries over the next few months.
Some of the items that are expected to drop later this month include streetwear and action figures based on the anime series Yasuke and Eden and limited-edition apparel and decorative items inspired by Lupin in collaboration with the Musée du Louvre.
To mark the launch of the online store, the streaming giant has teamed up with up-and-coming designers such as Nathalie Nguyen, Kristopher Kites and Jordan Bentley to create a collection of anime-inspired collectibles that can be shopped today.
The company noted that it will be launching exclusive products from shows The Witcher and Stranger Things and new Netflix logo-wear from Japanese fashion house BEAMS in the future.
