Luxury fashion platform, FWRD, has appointed entrepreneur and supermodel, Kendall Jenner, as its new creative director.
“I grew up loving fashion and have been incredibly fortunate to work with some of the most brilliant people in this business. As FWRD’s Creative Director, I am excited to help curate the site’s offering with emerging designers and brands,” Jenner said in a company statement.
Jenner is being tasked with elevating the shopping experience of its customers by improving the look and feel of the site, optimizing the site’s product curation strategy, and making monthly edits to must-have trends and styles. She will also oversee marketing efforts, brand partnerships and brand activations.
Prior to her role with FWRD, Jenner has appeared on her family reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians and has been a well-recognized figure in the fashion industry. Throughout her career, Jenner has worked with several high-profile creative professionals in the fashion industry, such as Anna Wintour, Edward Enninful, Inez & Vinoodh, Mert & Marcus and the late Karl Lagerfeld. She has also graced the covers of prestigious fashion magazines such as Vogue and has strutted the runway for top designers such as Chanel, Christian Dior and Miu Miu.
Jenner is set to start her new role during New York Fashion Week in September 2021.
