Shapewear brand, SKIMS, has been named the official supplier of undergarments, loungewear and pajamas for Team USA at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.

SKIMS founder Kim Kardashian took it to Instagram yesterday to announce and share that the same pieces would also become available through a capsule collection on the SKIMS website.

“Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad. As I would watch the athletes compete, I would grow to understand the dedication and honor being a part of the Olympics embodied. I traveled w my stepdad and family to all different cities for the Olympic trials, the Olympics and track meets of @caitlynjenner’s and at every stop I would buy an Olympic t-shirt as a souvenir,” Kardashian wrote.

“When I received the call inviting Skims to be a part of @TeamUSA ??, every moment I’ve spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympians from the sidelines came full circle.”

The SKIM’s limited-edition Olympics collection, which features Team USA’s logo, will be distributed to all Team USA female athletes who will receive the full collection as part of the collaboration. In addition, viewers at home will have the option to purchase the collection for themselves starting mid-July 2021.

“We’re so proud to be supporting female athletes during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo,” said Kardashian in a SKIMS news release. “These women are incredible role models for younger girls, including my own daughters, showing them that anything is possible if you work hard enough. SKIMS is designed to empower women to feel their best every day and we’re excited to work with Team USA to help spread this message.”

Known for its inclusive messaging, SKIMS offers a wide range of sizes and skin-tone colors across all of its products. The solution stems from Kardashians’ personal struggles to find comfortable shapewear that fit her body.

The collection has been modeled by professional athletes Alex Morgan, Haley Anderson, Scout Bassett, Dalilah Muhammad, as well as A’ja Wilson.
