About 150 teens gathered outside the Supreme store on Thursday morning in Milan for the store’s grand opening.
While not everyone was able to enter the store due to COVID-19 precautionary measures, this did not stop streetwear enthusiasts from showing their support. Many still had a chance to take a peek inside the new location through an online raffle.
Fans outside the store claimed one of the most sought-after pieces was Supreme’s signature white t-shirt with its box logo overlaid on the red background.
In addition to the coveted piece, Supreme offered up a special edition piece as it typically does at the time of store openings. For the Milan opening, the streetwear brand released a t-shirt featuring the image of Leonardo Da Vinci’s “The Last Supper” as the replacement to the iconic red background.
Inside the store, customers were greeted by giant animated sculptures and decorations on the walls, with the center of the space mainly open.
The Supreme Milan store is located at Corso Garibaldi, 20, 20121 Milano MI, Italy and is expected to be open from 11 am to 7:30 pm Monday through Saturday and 12 pm to 6 pm on Sundays.
The store marks Supreme’s first retail location since its San Francisco location, which opened in October 2019 and its Brooklyn location which opened in October 2017.
