NewStore, a Boston-based startup that offers a software solution that enables store associates to digitally communicate with shoppers, has raised $45 million in Series B1 funding.

The investment round follows significant growth in the first half of 2021, wherein the company’s SaaS revenue grew by more than 100 percent year-over-year. The company also expanded its footprint, reaching 20 countries across North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific.

“The pandemic created a rush to adopt omnichannel in the retail industry, and NewStore’s platform was perfectly positioned to help the brands looking to make the transition,” said Stephan Schambach, Founder and CEO, NewStore.

The company’s plug-and-play solution helps retailers extend an omnichannel experience to their customers through features such as buy online, pickup in-store (BOPIS), to enabling store associates to remotely sell to customers and access their information.
