Fried chicken quick-service restaurant (QSR), Popeyes, has launched its first-ever loyalty program called Popeyes Rewards.

“We have been humbled to see our fans express their loyalty for our brand time and time again,” said Bruno Cardinali, Popeyes Chief Marketing Officer. “Our goal has been to create a perfect loyalty program that matches and rewards their unparalleled enthusiasm.”

To kick off the new rewards program, the Southern-based restaurant is introducing a special “Welcome To The Popeyes Fam” Meal which is exclusively available to loyalty members on the Popeyes website and mobile app. The meal features eight pieces of Popeyes signature bone-in chicken, one large side and four biscuits. Customers who purchase the exclusive meal between June 17, 2021, and July 1, 2021, will receive 500 bonus points to use toward future Popeyes orders.

The offering comes at a time when consumers are gravitating toward loyalty solutions — a trend that was brought upon by the coronavirus pandemic, which sparked a shift in how consumers shop and engage with brands and retailers.

Through the rewards program, members can expect to earn points for every transaction they make. Members can also expect offerings such as 10 points for every dollar spent online or on the app, happy hour with $1 regular-size sides, bonus points on combos and family meals and extra rewards with personalized challenges.

To sign up customers can download the free Popeyes App or go online at popeyes.com and register using their name and email to start racking up points.
