Authentic Brands Group (ABG), the soon-to-be parent company of Reebok, plans to expand the shoe brand’s presence to 2,850 stores as part of its deal with JD Group.

Under the terms of the deal, all JD retail brands, including Finish Line, JD, DTLR, Shoe Palace, Size, Sprinter and SportZone, will carry the shoe brand both in physical stores and online.

A more comprehensive assortment of Reebok products will be offered at various JD retail stores starting in the fall of 2022. Meanwhile, ABG will continue to sell Reebok through various wholesale partners and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels.

“JD’s expanded support of Reebok as well as their new commitment to carrying the brand in their stores in North America and Europe speaks volumes to the brand’s cultural influence,” said Jamie Salter, founder, chairman and CEO of Authentic Brands, said in a statement.

“This partnership solidifies Reebok’s position with an important global retailer.”

The announcement comes just a week after ABG inked a long-term licensing deal with India’s Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL), one of the country’s largest fashion companies, to sell Reebok products through wholesale, eCommerce and Reebok branded retail stores throughout India as well as in other ASEAN countries, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
