Coach Picks Todd Kahn As New CEO

Coach has appointed Todd Kahn as its permanent chief executive, a roll Kahn held on an interim basis since July last year.

Kahn began working with Coach in 2008 and over the 13-year tenure, he has held several leadership roles. In his last position, he served as the chief legal officer until March last year and then he began working as the company’s interim chief executive and president in July.

Kahn will be reporting to Joanne Crevoiserat, chief executive officer of Coach’s parent company Tapestry, Inc.

“Todd has done a tremendous job leading Coach over the last nine months, delivering exceptional business results, while effectively navigating the pandemic. Importantly, during this time, the brand has been building momentum through the recruitment of new, younger customers and the acceleration of digital,” Crevoiserat said. “In addition, throughout his 13-year tenure with the Company, he has been instrumental in shaping our strategic agenda as well as developing empowered and inclusive teams. Todd has both deep industry and Company experience, bringing a unique balance of brand stewardship and commercial capabilities.”
