Bridal and special occasion authority, David’s Bridal, has announced the launch of the David’s Bridal YouTube Live channel. The launch of the channel comes as a strategic effort to respond to the evolving needs of the modern couple.

“This, literally, is a 24 hour a day video channel full of love, joy, beauty, families, friends, and happiness. We found in our recent Pearl Report by David’s that women are looking for inspiration all the time – including in the middle of the night – and wedding videos are their faves. The videos are real couples, real photographers, real venues, real vendors, real forever-afters. We were thrilled with the outpouring of videos sent to us for our launch,” said Kelly Cook, Chief Marketing & It Officer at David’s Bridal.

“Featuring real wedding videos allows us to foster a community of inspiration filled with magical moments to guide today’s couples.”

Through the channel, viewers can expect around-the-clock wedding planning content and inspiration, including real wedding videos to showcase wedding moments couples can look forward to on their own big day.

The channel will also feature a variety of fresh, new and free content submitted by real couples, photographers, and vendors. Those looking to be featured on the channel can contribute by emailing dbcommunity@dbi.com.

The news follows the retailer’s latest $70 million investment as well as its appointment of Bryan Dow as vice president of global creative and brand marketing. Over the course of the last year, the company has made several efforts to enhance its omnichannel experiences. The company announced the launch of Diamond, a loyalty program powered by Popwallet; the acquisition of online wedding destination, Rustic Wedding Chic; the launch of 3D and AR technologies; a partnership with The Black Tux; a partnership with buy now, pay later (BNPL) payment solution provider Affirm and the rollout of a virtual stylist and appointment experience.
