Target is set to open mini Apple stores at select store locations as it looks to create new guest experiences for its customers.
The new shopping experience is being debuted online and at select stores this month. A total of 17 Target stores are expected to feature mini Apple stores by the end of Fall this year.
“Apple products are popular with Target’s guests, and this new, dedicated shopping experience offers enhanced service and expanded offerings, building on our strength as a go-to destination for electronics,” said Christina Hennington, executive vice president and chief growth officer at Target, in a press release.
The new shopping experience aims to offer an even easier way for Target customers to shop for Apple products. The mini Apple stores will feature key Apple products such as iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, HomePod, Apple TV and other Apple accessories. Customers can experience new products through demonstrations by trained Target tech consultants.
Target customers will also receive a 5 percent discount when shopping for Apple products with their Target RedCard and use Target’s various pickup and delivery options, including same-delivery with Shipt and curbside pickup.
Target’s partnership with Apple follows that with other national brands such as Disney, Ulta Beauty and more recently, Levi’s Strauss & Co.
