Jennifer Lopez, now known as Jennifer Lynn Affleck, has entered the body care category with the launch of JLo Body – a subcategory of her namesake skincare line that originally launched in January 2021.

The product line has been developed with clinically backed formulas that offer higher performance skincare for the body, offering visible results to users.

“For me, it’s all about feeling confident in your skin, no matter what,” said Lopez in a statement.

“We give all this care and attention to the skin on our face, but we sometimes neglect the body. It was important to me to create a skincare routine for the body to address its specific and unique needs. It’s all the power and science behind JLo Beauty… now for body.”

The first product available through JLo Body is a firming lotion called “Firm + Flaunt Targeted Booty Balm,” which promises to firm skin’s appearance, improve elasticity, and fade the appearance of stretch marks in targeted areas like the booty, hips and thighs through active ingredients such as Guarana seed extract and Pink Pepperslim.

The brand tested its products in a clinical study of 34 women, ranging from ages 27 to 63. The study found that 100% of participants witnessed a measured increase in hydration immediately after application, while 71% saw an increase in skin texture/smoothness after four weeks. Additionally, 74% of participants demonstrated a measured improvement in skin elasticity just eight weeks after use.

The JLo Beauty Firm + Flaunt Targeted Booty Balm is being offered for $65 and is available now on www.jlobeauty.com.
