Multi-specialty telehealth platform, Hims & Hers, has appointed two executives, Brian O’Shaughnessy and Josh Krueger, to its leadership ranks.
O’Shaughnessy has been appointed as the company’s first chief communications officer, while Krueger has been named as the vice president of fulfillment operations.
O’Shaughnessy brings more than two decades of experience leading communications functions at high-growth technology companies, including Google and Skype.
While at Google, O’Shaughnessy led consumer product communications across a suite of global products and services, including the rollouts of the first Android-powered device, the Chrome browser, and the internationalization and monetization of YouTube. Meanwhile, at Skype, he developed and led the company’s global media strategy, oversaw new product launches and strategic partnerships, and led communications strategy through the Microsoft acquisition.
Krueger, on the other hand, brings over a decade of experience in fulfillment leadership roles at Walmart and Amazon.
Krueger started his career managing fulfillment operations for a 1.2 million square foot Walmart distribution center. Later in 2008, he joined Amazon, where he spent over seven years helping open four one million-plus square foot fulfillment centers and launch and operate Amazon’s first fully scaled robotics fulfillment center.
The appointments of both O’Shaughnessy and Krueger follow the platform’s continued efforts to improve financial performance, including rapid top-line growth as it scales its business.
“Hims & Hers is revolutionizing the retail experience for a new generation of healthcare consumers,” said Krueger. “As someone who has spent my career at the cutting edge of retail and eCommerce, I could not be more excited by this opportunity to help establish what it means for consumers to experience great modern healthcare. I look forward to leveraging my experience operating fulfillment centers at scale to continue Hims & Hers’ rapid growth and the incredible experience it is delivering to customers.”
