Months after its initial sneak peek, Dior has officially released its capsule with Birkenstock.

The collection takes inspiration from Christian Dior’s love of gardening and looks to mix functionality and elegance. The two signature silhouettes from the collection are the Tokio back-strapped mule and the Milano back-strapped sandal.

Dior released the two variations for sale on its website, with both styles retailing at a cool $1,100 each.

Both the Milano back-strapped sandals come in two colorways, black nubuck leather and “Dior gray” felted wool; the same goes for the mules, which also come in an additional “greige” nubuck color.

Each Dior x Birkenstock piece also features the Dior buckle and embossed soles, featuring the Dior Oblique motif and Birkenstock’s signature bone-patterned tread.

Back in March 2022, Thibo Denis, the footwear lead for the men’s category at Dior, teased variations of the brand’s collaboration with Birkenstock in gray, sail, beige and floral colorways during the brand’s Winter 2022/2023 runway show.

The Dior x Birkenstock pieces are already sold out online and are now showing up on Grailed with a resale price tag of $4000.
