Alessandro Michele, the creative director for Gucci, has revealed that Harry Styles will be teaming up with the brand to create a series of 25 looks for a collection called HA HA HA, combining Michele and Styles’ first initials.

Michele made the announcement during a recent press conference, revealing that the collection has been in the making for about a year now, with the duo conversing over WhatsApp and dinners to make it happen.

Michele said working with Styles on the collection was “kind of like working at home on a rainy day between two friends, doing something to have fun.”

According to The Wall Street Journal, the collection is expected to arrive in-store at Gucci this October and will be reflective of the musician’s style, featuring “sport coats with meaty lapels, neckerchiefs, and glen-plaid topcoats” that “have a palpable ’70s look to them.”

Michele and Styles have had a longstanding relationship. In 2020, Styles wore a Gucci dress when he graced the cover of Vogue, becoming the first solo male star to be featured on the cover. Styles also attended the Met Gala in 2019 alongside Michele in a Gucci ensemble.
