Kroger has teamed up with Market Wagon to launch an online farmers market in Atlanta.

The platform will serve as a marketplace for local farmers and businesses and give shoppers access to fresh-from-farm produce and local products that will be delivered to their doorsteps on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Shoppers in Atlanta will have access to more than 1,150 local products sold by vendors in the Atlanta area, which are not yet accessible at Kroger stores. The service will be accessible within a 60-mile radius across the city, including 28 counties.

“Kroger’s new digital farmers market pilot is part of the evolution of our rapidly growing and innovative e-commerce business,” said Felix Turner, Kroger’s corporate affairs manager for the Atlanta Division. “This partnership reinforces the importance of buying local to customers, powered by modern, cost-effective, and efficient last-mile solutions. We’re excited to launch this service in partnership with Market Wagon across Atlanta.”
