Mexican quick-service restaurant (QSR), QDOBA, has launched a new rewards program, making it easier for customers to earn free food fast.
“After listening closely to what matters most to our fans, we’ve introduced a simplified and easier-to-understand program that rewards people with free food fast for eating what they already love,” said Keith Guilbault, CEO of QDOBA.
“Our guests appreciate that we have set up a program that gets them to flavorful rewards fast, as we’ve already seen a 20% increase in weekly sign-ups since the program launched.”
The new program has been simplified to allow members to gain more rewards without making too many restaurant visits. For every $1 spent, members will receive one point and a free entrée with just 125 points. In addition, new members who sign up will immediately receive a free reward – QDOBA’s signature queso & chips, which they can enjoy on their next visit to the restaurant. The program also makes it easier for customers to redeem and access their rewards through QDOBA’s in-app wallet.
The launch of the program comes at a time when QSRs are seeing loyalty programs as a key tool for engaging new and existing customers. According to loyalty solution provider Paytronix, nearly 70% of QSR patrons take advantage of loyalty programs offered by restaurants they purchase from frequently.
