Intimates and sleepwear brand Hanky Panky has opened its first-ever brick-and-mortar location in New York City.

The 600 square feet store sits in the West Village neighborhood and has been designed with an immersive, social sharing-driven format that aims to reflect Hanky Panky’s ethos and serve as a physical extension of the brand.

“Hanky Panky has been a staple in the industry and in women’s lives for more than four decades, and we’re so excited to announce we’re officially opening our doors, which will truly bring the brand to life,” said Brenda Berger, CEO of Hanky Panky.

“Giving our consumers products that set the tone for their day and make them feel their best selves has always been at the core of what we do, and we’re thrilled to be able to do that in a whole new, more personal way.”

The move to expand into physical retail marks a pivot for the retailer, which for the last 40 years has relied on a direct-to-consumer (DTC) model. That said, the brand plans to expand its U.S. retail footprint with ten more stores by 2025.

To celebrate its expansion into physical retail, Hanky Panky will have a mobile unit that will offer exclusive promos and lingerie cycle activation for consumers on Saturday, August 27, 2022.

The Hanky Panky is located at 370 Bleecker Street and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm on Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm.
