VF Corp Appoints Kevin Bailey As Global Head Of Vans
VF Corporation has appointed Kevin Bailey as the global brand president of Vans, the company announced.

Bailey has a successful track record working at Vans in various capacities. In his most recent role, he served as the company’s president of the Asia-Pacific region, overseeing brands such as Ultra, JanSport and Smartwool. He is also credited with helping the brand double its revenue to $2.2 billion when he served as the company’s president.

“Kevin brings a deep level of knowledge and understanding of the Vans brand, its consumer, and the global business to this role,” VFCorp CEO Steve Rendle said in a statement.

“He will work closely with the Vans leadership team and our enterprise functions as we focus on re-energizing the brand’s global growth.”

Bailey replaces Doug Palladini, who served as global brand president at Vans since 2016.

Bailey’s appointment follows a period of modest growth at the company as the brand has struggled to make a return to its pre-pandemic growth levels.

“Vans did not meet expectations in Q3, with mixed holiday performance,” Rendle said on an earnings call with analysts. “While we are encouraged by the sequential improvement of the business fundamentals, we acknowledge that the Vans brand continues to perform below the expectations set in May 21.”
