Andrew Won Uses Old Arc'teryx Jackets To Create Upcycled Tissue Boxes

Following the launch of Arc’teryx’s first Care and Repair Service center in Toronto, designer Andrew Won has just unveiled his upcycled capsule collection, featuring tissue boxes made from “worn beyond optimum” Arc’teryx garments.

Each tissue box features paneled construction using used jackets with labels as well as obvious GORE-TEX branding. Some of the other features have been constructed using elements such as chest zippers, velcro straps, and grommets, using elements from the jackets.

Proceeds from the Won X-Arc’teryx Toronto upcycled capsule collection will go directly to a national organization in Canada that is focused on improving human rights in North Korea and Canada’s engagement in the Korean Peninsula called HanVoice Canada.

In honor of the launch, Won organized a workshop focusing on circularity, methods of upcycling, and sustainability.
