The move aims to further diversify the product offerings on the company’s platform and comes after a successful entry into the watches and fine jewelry category.
The expansion will enable Rebag to begin collecting insights on consumers’ shopping habits relating to buying and selling of apparel and shoes while growing its product knowledge in these two categories.
“After our successful integration of watches and fine jewelry in 2020, shoes and apparel are the natural next step for us,” said Charles Gorra, chief executive officer and founder of Rebag.
“Rebag is the expert and ultimate destination for the most coveted luxury items. We are excited to expand our horizons and offer our customers new categories to invest in. This has always been a request from both our buyers and sellers and will help us address a larger share of their resale needs.”
Just like its existing categories, clients can sell shoes, and select apparel from Rebag’s accepted designers list online or in person at any physical Rebag location across the country. Customers will receive upfront pricing and fast payment upon completion of the vetting process.
Some of the brand’s customers will be able to buy and sell include existing brands such as Chanel, Gucci, Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Fendi, as well as a host of new luxury designers such as:
- Adidas
- Balmain
- Common Projects
- Maison Margiela
- Manolo Blahnik
- Jordan
- Yeezy
- Rick Owens
- Vetements
Rebag’s entry into shoes and select apparel follows its recent partnership with Moda Operandi as well as the launch of its multi-tiered loyalty program, Rebag Rewards.
