Away To Launch New Outdoor Product Line

Luggage company Away is soon planning to debut a new line of outdoor products called F.A.R — For All Routes.

The new product line will include duffle bags, backpacks, tote bags, and messenger bags, among other things. Each product will be made using recycled nylon and polyester that is abrasion and water-resistant.

All products will also include interior and exterior compression systems, exterior daisy chains, and easy-access pockets that offer additional functionality.

The company decided to expand its business to include outdoor travel gear as consumers’ interest in outdoor travel significantly increased over the pandemic.

“That shift, coupled with growing excitement for travel as a whole, has resulted in customer demand reaching new heights,” said Jen Rubio, CEO and co-founder of Away. “With the insight that over half of travelers expect their post-pandemic trips to be different —including a strong desire to reconnect with nature, adventure, and the outside— we developed F.A.R to enable our customers, both new and existing, to take more types of trips with Away.”

F.A.R products will be available starting June 28, 2022, on and in Away’s 13 retail locations across the U.S., U.K., and Canada.
