Lancôme has appointed Emma Chamberlain as the new face of the brand.

Through the appointment of the Youtube personality, Lancôme is hoping to tap into Chamberlain’s wit and singularity as well as her modernity and edge to spread the brand’s message of positive and powerful beauty and attract a new generation of customers.

“I am proud to welcome Emma to the Lancôme family,” said Lancôme’s International President Françoise Lehmann. “Besides achieving so much at such an early age, Emma is adored by a generation for the perspectives that she shares. We can only appreciate her humor and the authentic tone used to discuss meaningful topics.”

The beauty brand has already launched its first collaborative effort with the star on its YouTube channel, a new web series called “How do you say beauty in French.” In the 4-episode series, Chamberlain shares her perspective on self-image and her vision of beauty while she uncovers the world of skincare and makeup.

“I have always had my own notion of beauty and didn’t project myself within the beauty industry because of the duality that I show, mixing comfort with being nicely put together. Hence why, when Lancôme came to me, I felt so honored and excited that the brand understood and appreciated who I am,” said Chamberlain.

Today, Chamberlain has garnered a social media following of almost 30 million and has been recognized as one of the most influential, relatable, and popular personalities out there, winning the People’s Choice award Pop Podcast category and making it on the ’30 under 30 – Social Media’ list in 2021.
