Beverage company Vita Coco has teamed up with Captain Morgan to offer customers a spiked variation of its popular Vita Coco coconut water.

While the timing of the collaboration might unseasonal, it is, in fact, intentional.

“There’s a point every year when people are ready to kick winter to the curb, and Vita Coco Spiked with Captain Morgan delivers the taste of the tropics that is synonymous with the fun of warmer days. And that’s what this collab is all about – keeping the spirit of summer going year-round,” said Anne Nosko, vice president of Captain Morgan.

"We jumped at the opportunity to work with the best in the business, to bring people Vita Coco Spiked with Captain Morgan, and now we're all one sip closer to summer."

These new spiked beverages come in three rum-based cocktail flavors: Piña Colada, Strawberry Daiquiri, and Lime Mojito.

Vita Coco Spiked with Captain Morgan is now available on shelves nationwide. The premium line of canned cocktails has an ABV of 5% and is available in a four-pack, 12oz cans for $14.99.

Vita Coco recommends chilling the can before consumption for the best experience.
