Famed stylist Law Roach, known for his work with Hollywood A-listers, has announced his retirement from the fashion industry.

Roach made the announcement on his Instagram account, stating that his “cup is empty” and thanked those who have supported him throughout his career. While he did not go into detail, Roach hinted at several factors that led to his decision, including the politics, lies, and false narratives that exist within the industry.

His retirement comes days after he attended Versace’s Fall/Winter 2023 show in West Hollywood, California.

In November 2022, Roach was awarded the inaugural stylist award by the Council of Fashion Designers of America for his many achievements in the field.

He is recognized for his innovative and creative approaches to dressing up-and-coming stars like Zendaya, for whom he has crafted some of the red carpet’s most memorable looks.

The self-proclaimed image architect has significantly impacted the fashion industry, and his retirement marks the end of an era.
