Skims has appointed Robert Norton, Moncler’s president of the Americas, as the first-ever chief commercial officer of the brand.

Norton brings nearly two decades of experience working for global luxury brands. Before Moncler, he served as the chief executive of Americas for Roberto Cavalli. He also has more than 13 years of experience working in several executive positions at Ralph Lauren, including vice president and regional director of North America.

At Skims, Norton will be tasked with expanding the brand’s reach to international markets.

“I have been a fan of Robert’s for several years and believe him to be a rare, creatively minded executive who knows how to build both a brand and a business,” said Jens Grede, co-founder and CEO of Skims. “We are excited to have Robert on the team as we continue the evolution of SKIMS into a global retail brand.”

Skims was co-founded in 2019 by Emma Grede, Jens Grede, and Kim Kardashian. A year ago, the company secured a $240 million investment at a valuation of $3.2 billion. Since then, the company has looked to expand into new product categories, such as swimwear.
