David Yurman Unveils Sofia Richie Grainge as the Face of Sculpted Cable

Luxury jewelry brand David Yurman has launched its new Sculpted Cable bracelet with a campaign featuring Sofia Richie Grainge, a social media influencer, and the brand’s global ambassador.

“Sofia is a style icon with endless charm, and we’re delighted to collaborate with her,” said President Evan Yurman in a statement. “She is truly the perfect ambassador to launch these new Sculpted Cable designs, which are the newest evolution of our signature house motif: Cable.”

Yurman added that Grainge highlights the spirit and sophistication of the brand’s jewelry, which it has sought to capture through the campaign.

“David Yurman embodies everything that I’m trying to express with my aesthetic—with how I dress and how I want to feel, which for me is very timeless and elegant,” said Richie Grainge. “This campaign is about paving your own way: really being confident, taking direction, and being the leader of your own pack.”

In Sculpted Cable, the original helix design was reimagined as a relief, with each ridge carved and polished. Sculpted Cable’s designs referenced the original Cable, combining craftsmanship with sensibility. The expansion of David Yurman’s Sculpted Cable assortment introduces a new bangle made with 18K yellow, rose, and white gold, with and without pavé diamonds.

The new Sculpted Cable design reportedly underwent meticulous design and development over several years. This latest iteration showcased Cable’s curves refined into slimmer, lower profiles. One version of the bangle featured 170 hand-set diamonds in graduated sizes, totaling 1.7 carats, skillfully placed by the brand’s master craftspeople to accentuate the Cable fluting.

The campaign took place at the Kellogg Doolittle House in Joshua Tree, CA, with photography by Glen Luchford and styling by Elin Svahn. Creative direction for the brand’s first campaign featuring a single hero collection for Fall 2023 was provided by Evan Yurman.
