M&S Expands Fragrance Lineup with Estée Lauder

Marks & Spencer is expanding its M&S Beauty collection with the addition of Estée Lauder fragrances to its lineup.

Starting on October 5, 2023, M&S.com will feature over 30 Estée Lauder fragrances, starting at just £25, encompassing collections like Beautiful, Bronze Goddess, and Pleasures for women and the Aramis range for men. Customers can enjoy the convenience of free next-day delivery or opt for click-and-collect at over 700 locations and select stores across the U.K.

“This is such an exciting partnership for Estée Lauder, to be entering into one of the U.K.’s most trusted high street stores, which is fast becoming the destination for beauty,” said Luke Evans, vice president and general manager at Estée Lauder. “We are thrilled to be able to offer M&S consumers the opportunity to shop Estée Lauder’s most iconic fragrances, both in-store and online. We want to make our fragrances accessible and for our carefully curated edit of fragrances to offer customers the opportunity to discover and re-discover scents to gift or self-gift all year round.”

The move aligns with the retailer’s ‘Brands at M&S’ strategy, which seeks to enhance customer experience by offering carefully curated third-party product ranges at affordable prices.

The addition of Estée Lauder fragrances raises the total count of third-party beauty brands accessible on M&S.com to 47. One of the other Estée Lauder brands recently added to Marks & Spencer’s portfolio is the global skincare brand Clinique.

According to a statement from M&S, third-party beauty brands now constitute 42% of total sales in M&S Beauty, with fragrances accounting for 12% of that share.

“At M&S, we’re committed to becoming the trusted editor in beauty for our customers. We’re continuing to innovate with our leading own brands and introducing third-party partners who complement and complete our offer,” said Heidi Woodhouse, director of home, furniture and beauty at M&S. “Following the success of Clinique last year, part of the Estée Lauder group, we’re delighted to welcome Estée Lauder Fragrance; with our shared synergy in values, the partnership will support us to grow our relevance in the fragrance category where we know brand credibility is important.”
