Luxury fashion brand Altuzarra is partnering with resale solution provider Reflaunt to soon launch its own online resale platform, Altuzarra Archive, in an effort toward becoming a sustainable and circular business.

The platform will not only facilitate the buying and selling of pre-owned clothing but also give shoppers access to an exclusive archival collection never before available to the public. In addition, the platform will offer customers a museum-like curation of older seasonal items, such as unique samples and exclusive runway items only available through the resale platform.

It will reward shoppers for prolonging their clothing items’ life and incentivize loyalty and retention by offering store credit.

“Given the cyclical nature of fashion, it’s meaningful to be able to extend the life cycle of styles from past collections by breathing new life into them and giving customers a rare opportunity to shop them,” said Creative Director Joseph Altuzarra. “Altuzarra designs are meant to last and become go-to elements in our customer’s wardrobe. Their value extends way beyond a single season, and I am excited to allow new customers to rediscover them and style them with current Altuzarra pieces as well.”

Altuzarra is part of a growing wave of luxury brands that are leading the way in sustainable resale, taking ownership of secondhand sales. The brand said it is dedicated to preserving global craftsmanship and artisanal processes, as reflected in the Altuzarra Archive, which celebrates the enduring beauty of clothing and accessories meant to be cherished and worn for years. Altuzarra Archive is set to launch exclusively on altuzarra.com in the summer of 2023.
