SKIMS Vice President, Analytics & Insights

You will help establish and lead the analytics function for the SKIMS business. You will partner closely with the Marketing, Finance, Product, Customer Experience, and Operations teams to provide insights and reporting. You must be able to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights and promote data driven strategies.  


  • Identify trends, opportunities and challenges through analysis and provide data driven recommendations  across key areas such as sales, customer behavior and performance marketing
  • Utilize predictive analytics and statistical models to gain insights into future performance
  • Concept, develop and implement BI solutions for monitoring and analyzing business performance
  • Turn business issues into the right research questions; pursue and guide the best research approach including qualitative and quantitative insight
  • Perform deep-dive analysis of KPIs to identify key drivers that contribute to each KPI
  • Provide insights and models to management and finance teams in the forecasting & budgeting process
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop surveys and polls to gain additional quantitative and qualitative data points for analysis
  • Empower departments across the company to leverage BI solutions and reporting in their workflows
  • Proactively provide recommendations on new data sources and metrics for future analysis
  • Partner with technology team to continuously validate the integrity of source data inputs and reporting/dashboard outputs
  • Train business users of various skill sets to enable ‘self-self’ analytics; advocate for data driven decision and frameworks via empowerment of data usage across the business 

Key Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of business intelligence, data analytics and/or insights experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance or related field; advanced degree a plus
  • Experience building, managing, and growing an analytics team with strong functional expertise and influence, while fostering a supportive learning environment
  • High proficiency using relational databases and writing queries in SQL
  • Extensive experience with business intelligence solutions (Looker, Tableau, Microstrategy, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel skills (macros, power query, pivots, etc.)
  • Experience with e-commerce, retail or direct-to-consumer businesses
  • Experience (academic/professional) with data analysis languages such as R and Python
